ESTUDIO EQUECO

Leñeria is a coworking firm founded in 2012 by Archibits Arquitectos. In addition to being their own headquarters, they provide work and venue spaces to a community of multiple companies in Santiago, Chile.

Their new location is in the neighborhood of Triana a tiny and narrow street inside an historical preservation area of downtown Santiago. The project addressed the challenge of adaptative reuse of two aristocratic houses from 1937.

 

Space recycling and a mixed-use programme was the strategy used to encourage the flourishment of a social hub where ideas are developed, businesses grow and opportunities arise.
